A Vision of the Future, Not a Dream
Looper (2012) / US / In cinemas now / Written and Directed By Rian Johnson / Starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Bruce Willis, Emily Blunt, Jeff Daniels, Paul Dano, Noah Segan, Piper Perabo, Pierce Gagnon / 118 minutes
I could start off by giving you the speech about how we live in a sucky world where all the films are adaptations, remakes, comic book films, sequels etc. And then I could tell you about how Rian Johnson created an original film called Looper and low and behold, we can all restore our faith in cinema. Yes, yay for Rian Johnson. He did us proud. But isn't the kind of movie that should be restoring our faith in cinema by itself. It just proves to us that true cinema isn't dead, and there's still room for innovation.
Looper is set mostly in 2044, where time travel hasn't been invented yet. However, 30 years in the future, time travel has been outlawed, and is used by crime bosses. In their time, it is extremely difficult to dispose of bodies secretly, so they transport the bodies back to 2044 where specialised assassins called "loopers" kill and dispose of the bodies. However, the loopers themselves can be sent back to 2044, and then they kill the old version of themselves - "closing the loop" - thus ending their contract. So when Joe (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) is sent to kill the older version of himself (played by Bruce Willis), things should be pretty simple for Joe to kill him and live free for the rest of his life. However, the older Joe seems to be quite troublesome, and has come back to 2044 with his own agenda.

My 10 Favourite Male Performances of 2011.
After checking out my favourite directors and ladies of 2011, it is time to look at the lovely men that impressed me on screen. Tomorrow, it'll be time to unveil my favourite films of 2011 - finally! However, back to the men of 2011: wasn't last year really a 'year for actors'? There were so many great performances that it made it hard for me to cut my list down to ten. Hence the fact that I have a rather long list of honourable mentions, who in a perfect world, would have all been in my top ten. Seriously, all of them just missed out on a place.
Honourable mentions: Ezra Miller - We Need to Talk About Kevin, Max von Sydow - Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close, Ewan McGregor - Beginners, Christopher Plummer - Beginners, Colin Firth - Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, Mark Strong - Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, Tom Hardy - Warrior, Joel Edgerton - Warrior, Patton Oswalt - Young Adult, Leonardo DiCaprio - J. Edgar, Rhys Ifans - Anonymous, Antonio Banderas - The Skin I Live In, Ben Kingsley - Hugo, Ralph Fiennes - Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2, Kenneth Branagh - My Week with Marilyn, Ryan Gosling - The Ides of March, Ryan Gosling - Drive, Albert Brooks - Drive, Jonah Hill - Moneyball, John Hawkes - Martha Marcy May Marlene, Peyman Moadi - A Separation, Andy Serkis - Rise of the Planet of the Apes, Hunter McCracken - The Tree of Life, Brad Pitt - The Tree of Life, Michael Fassbender - X-Men: First Class, Adrien Brody - Midnight in Paris, Corey Stoll - Midnight in Paris, Tom Hiddleston - Thor, Anton Yelchin - Like Crazy, Matthew McConaughey - The Lincoln Lawyer, Michael Fassbender - Jane Eyre, Christian McKay - I Melt with You, Peter Mullan - Tyrannosaur, Paul Rudd - Our Idiot Brother, Joseph Gordon-Levitt - Hesher.
10. Michael Shannon as Curtis LaForche in Take Shelter.
Michael Shannon has always been a great actor who has taken supporting roles and stolen the entire film within a few minutes. Revolutionary Road was a classic example of that. In Take Shelter, Shannon gets the lead role, and totally rocks the entire film. Curtis is a rather difficult character who is on the cusp of madness, constantly trying to make everyone believe that there's an apocalypse coming. Shannon's performance is a study of paranoia, instability and weakness. If it hadn't been Shannon playing him, I doubt that I would have felt so connected to Curtis. Instead of viewing his actions as irrational, I definitely felt as if I should get a shovel and pitch in with his plans.
Key scene: "There's a storm coming!"

A Firey End to an Epic Trilogy.
Year: 2012
Director: Christopher Nolan
Written by: Christopher Nolan and Jonathan Nolan
Starring: Christian Bale, Tom Hardy, Anne Hathaway, Michael Caine, Gary Oldman, Morgan Freeman, Marion Cotillard, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Liam Neeson, Cillian Murphy, Juno Temple.
Running time: 164 min.
Let me be straight-forward from the start: The Dark Knight Rises is the biggest film-event of my life so far. Sure, I've only had 16 years for films to compete for that title, but this film takes the cake by a long shot. That is not to say that The Dark Knight Rises is my favourite film ever. I honestly don't think it will have the mass effect that The Dark Knight had, with it making it's way to the top of IMDb's top 250 or anything like that. Simply put, The Dark Knight Rises isn't as good as The Dark Knight. But there's no denying that this is a grand-scale finish to what is probably the best trilogy of films that I have ever seen. The only problem that I have is that now the trilogy is all over. I guess that I can now properly understand how all of those Harry Potter fans felt when their series came to a close this time last year. Even though Christopher Nolan's Batman franchise and I didn't get off to the most conventional start, I can't help but feel a little nostalgic over the way The Dark Knight changed my perception of films when I was just about to leave primary school. Now I'm nearly on the precipice of leaving high school, The Dark Knight Rises has come along and reminded me of why I love Nolan's take on Batman, why I love Nolan's films in general, and why I love going to the cinemas. However, Nolan's closing the door on his Batman, even though he's leaving the door somewhat open for someone else to pick it up. Which I hope isn't the case, because I don't think anyone can do the superhero genre better than Nolan. Hell, this guy invented his own genre.

Cancer. With Laughs.
Film: 50/50
Director: Jonathan Levine
Written by: Will Reiser
Starring: Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Seth Rogen, Anna Kendrick, Bryce Dallas Howard, Anjelica Huston, Serge Houde, Matt Frewer, Philip Baker Hall.
Running time: 100 min.
"That doesn't make any sense, though. I mean, I don't smoke, I don't drink...I recycle." - Adam's (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) response to being told that he has a tumour in his spine. We go through life believing that nothing bad will ever happen to us if we do right by the world, because we don't deserve it. Unfortunately, a fact of life is that we'll all be linked to someone who has had to battle cancer, whether they beat it or succumb to it. Maybe it'll be us. Cancer doesn't care if you recycle, or if you're the best person on Earth. For Adam, he is only 27 when he's told that he has the illness. And while he can't make sense of it, his situation allows him to make sense of himself and the people around him. 50/50, Jonathan Levine's follow-up to the brilliant stoner comedy The Wackness, isn't My Sister's Keeper, though. It isn't out to turn the waterworks on or soak any tissues. Instead, it does the inevitable and brings some laughs to an otherwise sad story. Most of all, it puts a new spin on a topic that is used in films to make you feel guilty for being alive. There's no guilt to be felt with this one.

“So you lost your wife, and you lost your mom. I lost my nut.”
Film: Hesher
Year: 2010
Director: Spencer Susser
Written by: Spencer Susser and David Michôd.
Starring: Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Devin Brochu, Natalie Portman, Rainn Wilson, Piper Laurie, John Carroll Lynch, Frank Collison.
Running time: 106 min.
Joseph Gordon-Levitt was once a child star. As Hollywood seems to go, these child stars usually end up being wayward adults who end up doing community service coz of some bad thing they did. But Joseph Gordon-Levitt? That's not him. He did his dash as a child/teen actor, went and got a good education, and then came back to star in small independent films. In 2009, along came (500) Days of Summer, an indie rom-com that was adored by many, and suddenly Joe was a hot ticket in Hollywood. While he was running around hallways in Inception and has been roped in by Chris Nolan again for The Dark Knight Rises, Joe has still found time among his life as a formidable leading man to star in a little independent film called Hesher. With Hesher, Joe plays the titular character, but this isn't the sweet, lovable Joe that we all know. This is a version of Joe that doesn't often wear a top, showing off his home-made tattoos, with long unruly hair that probably has more grease in it than a fish and chip shop, and a smoke constantly hanging out of his mouth.

16 Days of Birthday, Day 10: My Many Man-Crushes
I'm not gonna lie, I genuinely find a lot of men in the film industry to be rather good looking. Usually, when I like an actor enough, I start stalking their IMDb pages and looking for movies I can watch with them in it. While you might just dismiss it as a creepy teenage obsession, these little love affairs I have with people I don't even know have their advantages. For example, there are some movies that I would have missed without stalking their IMDb pages. And yes, that's what I'll be taking a look at today: the movies I love from the actors I love that I wouldn't have seen otherwise. Because I'm both a shallow person and I want an excuse to look at hot pictures (jokes...).
As you can clearly see in my sidebar, I've got a little obsession going with Ralph Fiennes at the moment. Over the past few weeks, I've watched quite a few of his movies (Schindler's List twice...I can't get over how unbelievably good looking he is in that movie even though he's so evil). But a couple of nights back, I watched this movie called Strange Days. When I cleaned the shelves at work during the holidays, I stumbled upon this DVD, which has probably been there for years, and was drawn in by the name 'Ralph Fiennes'. I finally got my sister to get it out for me (it's an R18 for pretty obvious reasons) and pretty much went into it blind. All I knew was the fact that it starred Ralph 'sex on legs' Fiennes back in his early days, and it was written by James Cameron and directed by Kathryn Bigelow. Once I finished this movie, I was so glad that I watched it, but kinda sad that it isn't widely-known. Holy crap, this movie was adrenaline through and through, with it's sci-fi brilliance and a bit of originality that seems to be lacking these days. Seriously, you need to see this movie. It's directed like a man would direct it (Kathryn Bigelow is my idol!), it requires a bit of brain power, it's totally satisfying in the end and Ralph Fiennes is literally at his best (both looks wise and acting wise - he's BADASS!). And hey, it was made in the year I was born.
Now Cillian Murphy is a guy who I feel everybody should obsess over, because he's got some great, severely underrated movies out there. I've seen a whole lot: Sunshine, Peacock, Red Eye, Perrier's Bounty, The Wind That Shakes the Barley...but one I hold close to my heart is Breakfast on Pluto. Between me being jealous of how pretty Cillian looks as a chick and how flawlessly he plays his role, there is some genuine heart and whimsy in this movie. It's a film that doesn't take itself too seriously, which eventuates in a whole lot of flaws, but Patrick 'Kitten' Braden is one awesome character. He's one which is fearless, always happy and usually does the right thing, even though people don't believe in him. This is probably the best example of what Cillian can do...
We all know Joseph Gordon-Levitt. He is the guy who experienced a huge boom in his career thanks to an indie romantic comedy called (500) Days of Summer. But we also all know that he has been around forever. From the time he was working on the really cool TV show 3rd Rock from the Sun to being Christopher Nolan's latest go-to actor, JGL has working at a damn good filmography. I'm a huge fan of Brick, a modern day film-noir set in a high school. Who knew that high school could ever be so dirty? To this day, I still have these resounding nightmares about how interesting Lukas Haas is as 'The Pin'. Maybe there's someone like him around Dannevirke and I just don't know it.
Andrew Garfield is a name you should all probably know by now. Last year, his career sky-rocketed thanks to some movie about a website called The Social Network. People loved him, just not enough to give him an Oscar nomination. One movie he did win something for, though, was Boy A. Back in 2007, he got a BAFTA for his brilliant performance in this made-for-TV drama about an ex-con trying to make his way in the world. Young Andrew was at the beginning of his career then, but he looks like he's been acting for most of his life in films just like this. It's a heart-breaking and gritty story, which takes it's time to unfold the story behind the story, which leads the viewer to draw their own conclusions about Garfield's character. I do have to wonder how Andy will handle The Amazing Spider-Man, because in Boy A he exhibits some really good acting skills that aren't perhaps the best for a superhero (or a teenage boy, for that matter). Anyway, I'm sure he'll rock.
So yeah, I'm pretty sure that Michael Fassbender is going to be in everything soon. Everyone wants a piece of him...or to be one of his many teeth. I admit to falling prey to his charm and badassery in X-Men: First Class, and I'm slowly making my way through his awesome filmography. One of his films which I particularly liked was Fish Tank. This movie is one which has become pretty well known, especially since Fassy's instant rise to fame thanks to being Magneto. The film mainly focuses on a rebellious teenage girl, with Fassy playing her mother's new boyfriend. Let me tell you, while this guy seems like a real family man who only means good, there is plenty of creep in him. Fassy and his young co-star Katie Jarvis make for a great duo inn this perfectly realistic and gritty look at a teenager trying to find her place in the world.
I don't really know what to ask here...ah, maybe...has a love for any particular actor introduced you to something special?

It's been a year since I first saw Inception...time for 52 things I love about Inception!
So, if you don't like Inception, go to the left. This is my time to share 52 reasons why I think this movie is amazing, and I don't really want any crap comments ruining it. I get that it isn't as good as what it was a year ago...even I don't find it as amazing as I did. But, you know, I still love it to bitty bits. Okay, are we good? I hope so.
Anyway, here we go, 52 reasons why I love Inception (one for every week since my first viewing, not in any order either):
1. "You mustn't be afraid to dream a little bigger, darling."
2. All of the totems
3. ...but especially the cheeky one at the end.
4. Blasting up '528491' in my headphones at full volume, because that is freaking epic.
5. Cillian Murphy crying.
6. Arthur's wardrobe.
7. This is completely original Nolan - not adapted Nolan.
8. Oh yeah, and this is directed by Nolan.
9. Yusuf. You should never forget Yusuf and his crazy driving skills and his cats.
10. That spinning hallway scene.
11. Cobb is the director, Arthur is the producer, Ariadne is the production designer, Eames is the actor, Saito is the studio, and Fischer is the audience.
13. When Cobb finally shoots Mal.
14. The fact that 'Non, Je Ne Regrette Rien' is my alarm and it's the best alarm ever.
15. Even the posters are awesome.
16. Tom Hardy.
17. Ellen Page shooting Marion Cotillard because of the 2008 Oscars.
18. The suit porn.
19. This film required a food stylist and an assistant food stylist...(When I found this out, I actually listed all of the food in the movie. Hell, if this means you can take part in a Nolan flick, I want to be a food stylist.)
20. It won as many Oscars as The King's Speech.
21. This is the third Nolan flick that Cillian Murphy has spent a considerable amount of time hidden beneath a cloth sack.
22. The track 'Time' which is at the end of the soundtrack. Simply beautiful
23. The name Ariadne.
24. "You're waiting for a train. A train that'll take you far away. You know where you hope this train will take you. But you can't know for sure. Yet it doesn't matter. Because we'll be together."
25. When the little kids finally turn around so Cobb can see their faces.
26. Saito and his carpet.
27. Blowing up Paris. Because that's a cool way to get friends.
28. Oh, and folding over Paris. Because that's a cool way to get an architect.
29. "Un café! Un café!" - That's how you try an disguise yourself in a chase through Mombasa.
30. The awkward moment when Ariadne finds out Cobb's wife is actually dead.
31. Pete Postlethwaite. Always great.
32. "I bought the airline...it seemed neater."
33. The Eames/Arthur relationship.
34. Fischer's many 'bitch, please' looks.
35. Ooooh, freight train in the middle of the street.
36. Finding out the real story about Cobb and Mal.
37. When Eames turns into a chick. Hahaha.
38. "Paradox."
39. The world that Cobb and Mal built. I can see myself living there.
40. When the van hits the water.
41. The looks exchanged with Cobb as he walks through the airport.
42. "I know you were disappointed, that I couldn't be you." "No no no. I was disappointed that you tried."
43. Saito's aged look.
44. The fact that it wasn't made in 3D.
45. Mal's dress in the Japanese castle scene.
46. In fact, that castle was beautiful.
47. It's a family affair: Nolan's cousin plays the flight attendant, and his son plays Mal and Cobb's son when he is 20 months.
48. The fact that I can't say 'defibrillator'...but I do like their defibrillator.
49. Arthur's good driving skills.
50. Fischer's wallet has $500 in it, and the wallet is worth more than that.
51. The way the movie starts.
52. The way the movie ends. The screen goes black, the audience gets pissed off, and then the track 'Dream is Collapsing' starts as the title comes up. And then Christopher Nolan's name comes up, and I always cry because I can never be like him.
So there are 52 reasons why I love this amazing film, which has been with me for a year. Why do you like it?

My Top 10 Favourite (modern) Actors
I realized that I've never sorted my favourite people in the movies into nice lists, like I do with everything else, so I thought now was the right time to make some more lists on the particular matter. You know how I have random 'actor-spazzes', and you know which ten men I have huge crushes on. But you don't actually know who my favourite actors are, do you?
Most of these probably won't come as much of a surprise, either.
Honourable mentions: Jake Gyllenhaal, Heath Ledger, Guy Pearce, Ewan McGregor, James Franco, Bradley Cooper, Jeff Bridges, Peter Sarsgaard, Dominic Cooper, Christian Bale, Mark Wahlberg, Ralph Fiennes, Liam Neeson, Sean Penn, Edward Norton, Sam Rockwell, Brad Pitt.
No, this isn't just another one of my geek crushes. I genuinely like Jesse Eisenberg's work as an actor. From all of the films where he played an outwardly awkward little nerd until his explosive Oscar nominated work in The Social Network, I've come to expect big things of Mr. Eisenberg. And the more I see of him, the more I enjoy his acting style. It's like he doesn't even try to be funny or to be anything else. He just is, and I like that.
Favourite performance: The Social Network
Favourite film: The Social Network
I doubt that any of you have realized my love for Aaron Eckhart, as I haven't really talked about him much. He's an actor who has always been there, and he's always stood out for me, even if he hasn't for others. He's the kind of underrated actor who I usually go for. I simply can't wait to see Rabbit Hole, a film which I assume he should have got more recognition for since Nicole Kidman did get a lot. I'll see any film if it has Eckhart in it. Hell, I even sat through Love Happens just for him.
Favourite performance: The Dark Knight
Favourite film: The Dark Knight
Ah, you were probably expecting Andy to be further up in the list. Alas, he may have topped my biggest crushes list, but he doesn't top this one as he just hasn't been around long enough for me to go "fuck yes, best actor ever!" yet. The work of his I have seen though, is brilliant. He really should have been nominated for an Oscar for The Social Network. His BAFTA-winning performance in Boy A is beyond brilliant. His supporting work in Never Let Me Go, The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus and Lions for Lambs is show stopping. And even seeing him as a robot in I'm Here is an experience in itself. I love you, Andrew Garfield. Where have you been all my life?
Favourite performance: Boy A
Favourite film: The Social Network
Me? Miss a Robert Downey Jr. flick? Never. This man. This man. Why the hell is he so goddamn awesome? I wish I knew the answer to that question. Just anything he is in, he just makes me laugh and want to bask in his awesomeness. And hell, he's the only person ever to get nominated for an Oscar for being an American playing an Australian playing an African-American. Yes, he deserves a spot here.
Favourite performance: Tropic Thunder
Favourite film: Iron Man
Colin Firth is such a great person. Like, every time I see him he just looks like the guy you'd go and hug. Y'know, he just seems like a really nice person. He's had an interesting film career, too. He went from being a dashing young Brit with a knack for playing Mr. Darcy figures, to becoming the thing of middle-aged women's dreams with all those chick flicks, to suddenly becoming hot Oscar property by getting two consecutive nominations for A Single Man and The King's Speech (winning for the latter, of course). I'll continue watching his movies until he stops making them.
Favourite performance: The King's Speech
Favourite film: A Single Man
Despite being nominated for two consecutive Oscars, Jeremy Renner is not a name widely known in the household, even though if anyone has seen either The Hurt Locker or The Town, I bloody hope they were impressed by this beautiful man. Based on those two movies alone (and a few others to the side), I've fallen in love with Renner's talent. He's such a great actor. And he seems so chill in real-life as well. Please tell me I'm not the only one who loves Renner!
Favourite performance: The Hurt Locker
Favourite film: The Town
Whoever doesn't love JGL ought to leave. Now. Right now. Because it's damn near impossible not to love him. He's gorgeous, he's oh-so-hip right now, he's a musician, he has his own rocking website, he's a really chill guy and he's super talented. Ever since I saw (500) Days of Summer, I was in lesbians with him. I flicked back through some of his other movies like Brick and fell in lesbians even more. Completing my love for him was his appearance in Inception for Master Nolan, where he does a gravity defying fight scene which is pretty out of this world. And he's gonna star in The Dark Knight Rises. With Master Nolan. Again. You've gotta be pretty great to do a double Nolan.
Favourite performance: Brick
Favourite film: Inception
Like Aaron Eckhart, Mark Strong has always been there, minding his own business, but being completely awesome in the meantime. He's been in a heck of a lot of films, and I think - well, I hope - people are cottoning on to how great this guy actually is. To be honest, he steals the show in every movie he is in. Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day. Body of Lies. Sherlock Holmes. Robin Hood. Kick-Ass. Those are to name a few. I particularly loved him in Kick-Ass, because he is so mean but he is so funny at the same time. He's just great. Mainly because he can actually talk in proper sentences unlike Nicolas Cage.
Favourite performance: Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day
Favourite film: Kick-Ass
Many people underestimate Cillian Murphy. I don't know why this is. I guess you could call me an expert on Cillian, considering I watched most of his films during my major Cillian Murphy phase in August/September 2010. I learnt that he can indeed do comedy (Watching the Detectives...the whole film wasn't great, but he was pretty good). I learnt that he is a very scary man (Red Eye, Batman Begins). I learnt that he is a great leading man in Danny Boyle movies (28 Days Later..., Sunshine). I learnt that he has the most beautiful eyes in the world (all of his films, particularly Inception). And I learnt that he makes a very good girl (Breakfast on Pluto, Peacock). Yes, Cillian has a very diverse range of films. Which is why I love him so much.
Favourite performance: Breakfast on Pluto
Favourite film: Inception
No, this spot on the list is not filled because I saw Titanic and decided that Jack was a real hottie. In fact, I saw What's Eating Gilbert Grape and I was like "holy shit, that dude must be Jesus or something". From that performance on, I have gone through my life loving Leonardo DiCaprio. I have pretty much seen his entire filmography (there are a few that have passed me by, oh well), and I have been impressed by every single one of his performances. Though I am thankful that his teen idol status has disappeared and now we only see serious DiCaprio making serious movies which are seriously good. Now, come on, just give him an Oscar already!
Favourite performance: The Aviator
Favourite film: Inception

Top 10 actors I wouldn't mind spending my Valentines Day with...
Authors note: this is a totally vain list. I'm really only doing it because I get to post pretty pictures of hot guys. And also because I have no life and I easily fall in love with men like following. Please forgive me. Though you'll be happy that there is none of that Twilight shit in here...or Justin Bieber.
10. Aaron Johnson
Aaron Johnson has changed quite a bit since he got involved with Sam Taylor-Wood, but I like to remember Aaron when he was in such films as Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging and Nowhere Boy, and I like to think of him as having a similar personality to Dave Lizewski in Kick-Ass. I have the capacity to geek.
9. Ryan Reynolds
Anyone remember my Cillian Murphy obsession back in August/September? It's all in those eyes. Those beautiful, amazing, stunning, coloured by angels blue eyes. And his amazing cheekbones. And the way he looks when he's a girl. That sounds weird, but Cillian is beautiful.
7. Armie Hammer

9. Ryan Reynolds
Reasons why The Proposal is a fantastic movie: Sandra Bullock dancing in the forest and RYAN REYNOLDS NAKED!!!! Hey, you don't get called the 'sexiest man alive' for nothing, right?
8. Cillian Murphy

7. Armie Hammer
I swear Armie Hammer is perfect looking in The Social Network. Like, really beefy and really tall and really cute. Don't have much more to say there.
6. James Franco
He made at least half an hour of Eat Pray Love bearable. His face made 127 Hours a lot easier to go through. He's going to totally own with Anne Hathaway at this years Oscars. He is James Franco. Therefore, he is amazing.
5. Leonardo DiCaprio
In 2009 I was obsessed with Leonardo DiCaprio. It was like the equivalent to Leo-mania just by myself. He's my favourite actor, and unlike most people, I still think he's hot. He used to be cute, now he's sexy. Love it.
4. Jesse Eisenberg
There is something about Jesse Eisenberg's geekiness and awkwardness which I'm really attracted to. Dunno why that it is, but all I know is the more I see of Jesse, the more I fall in love with him. Especially after The Social Network. Even though I'm sure that movie was supposed to have the opposite effect.
3. Joseph Gordon-Levitt
Who doesn't love a little Joseph Gordon-Levitt? He's just such a lovable guy, and a great actor to boot. Just watch (500) Days of Summer and tell me you don't love him. That's what I thought.
2. Nicholas Hoult
When I saw A Single Man, I instantly fell for Nicholas Hoult and that gorgeous sweater he wears. After perving on all the ads he did for Tom Ford and whatnot, I was pretty much in love with Mr. Hoult. I just recently started watching Skins, and while he plays a complete asshole, he is extremely easy on the eye. Perhaps a little too easy.
1. Andrew Garfield
Dear Andrew Garfield,
Why you have to be so good looking?
Yours sincerely,
Stevee.
Andrew Garfield is perfect. His hair, his face, his personality...Jesus Christ, his girlfriend is so lucky. Did I mention that he is an awesome actor? I'll finally get to watch Never Let Me Go in a month, and then comes the long wait until Spider-man comes out. What ever will I do until then?!
Who are some actor/actresses you'd like to spend Valentines with? And while we're at it, what are your plans for Valentines?
