Hello there, I see you've reached Cinematic Paradox.
That girl up there who is sitting in front of a wardrobe filled with things I've stolen from the cinemas and holding a badge that is sooooo 2008 but cool because it's from a Christopher Nolan film is me, Stevee Taylor. I'm 17 years young and live in a small town in New Zealand called Dannevirke, where it rains a lot, and even though it is snowing EVERYWHERE ELSE in the country, it NEVER snows here. Seriously, there was an eight year interval between decent dumps of snow. And I love snow.
Okay.
Basically, I'm a wee country lass who has taken a shine to movies for the past six years, and started this establishment back in 2009. I've been known as "that girl who loves Christopher Nolan", "that girl who has lots of fake husbands" or by everyone I know in real life: "that girl who loves weird movies that we've never heard of." Yeah, I'm that nerdy film girl.
Cinematic Paradox is a pretty chill site that looks at all different kinds of movies (but mostly the latest DVD releases) with a bit of a personal edge. I don't mean to sound like I love myself, but my writings aren't all about lighting techniques. Because that bores me to death.
Along with that, Cinematic Paradox is the winner of the 2011 LAMMY for Best New Blog, the 2012 LAMMY for Best Rating System and the 2012 LAMMY runner-up for Best Blog. Plus, I got a call from Paramount. Oh yeah.
So sit back and relax with my vision of film!
