Hello there, I see you've reached Cinematic Paradox.

That girl up there who is sitting in front of a wardrobe filled with things I've stolen from the cinemas and holding a badge that is sooooo 2008 but cool because it's from a Christopher Nolan film is me, Stevee Taylor. I'm 18 years young and live in a small town in New Zealand called Dannevirke, where, well, absolutely nothing happens. Apart from people driving into the playground at McDonald's. That happens in Dannevirke.

I like movies a lot. That's really all that anyone needs to know about me. I was once Head Girl of my school, basically bossed everyone around and did inspiring speeches here and there and washed a lot of dishes. Basically, I like movies and doing dishes. One day they'll make a movie about me.

I would say that Cinematic Paradox is a place filled with film reviews and film thinklings, but I don't even know what Cinematic Paradox is. It is a place to dump my thoughts on some random film whenever I feel like it. If you like random editorials with a slightly sarcastic tone and some poor attempts at humour, this is definitely the place for you. And if you don't mind me going crazy over Jessica Chastain, Daniel Day-Lewis, Christopher Nolan etc etc etc, then this is the place for you.

Cinematic Paradox was once the winner of the 2011 LAMMY for Best New Blog, the 2012 LAMMY for Best Rating System and the 2012 LAMMY runner-up for Best Blog. Plus, I got a call from Paramount. Oh yeah.

So sit back and relax with my vision of film!

But awesome site, awesome accomplishments, however... the lighting in your image on this page could be better. ;)

I'm definitely following and looking forward to your chill-y and uniquey (sp?) takes on movies of all kinds.

  8. I would like to have the option to have the "standard" streaming channel stuff (nothing, or very little brand new) or pay $10 a month extra for the "super mega deluxe" package that includes current films.
