She will definitely be a huge threat to Viola Davis.

Aziza - I wouldn't be that surprised if any of the supporting actresses win...but you know me, I'm with Chastain until the end. And yes - he better get nominated, or else!

Scott - Haha, they are very beautiful teeth :D

Ruth - I reckon Scorsese has a good chance, but something about him winning an award for a kids film doesn't sound right to me. I'll probably change my mind once I see Hugo.
And you never know, your predicitions sound pretty on the money.

Jacob - And I can promise you that there is a 75% chance that it will :)

Bonjour Tristesse - Has anyone actually seen her film though? I think A Separation will win though, by a landslide.

Sati - Well I hope that Chastain does win, that will make my year :)Stevee Taylorhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12284769251750574447noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2587775651487578742.post-46536364951254450442012-01-10T17:55:24.978+13:002012-01-10T17:55:24.978+13:00I pretty much agree with everything, except Spence...I pretty much agree with everything, except Spencer - I think Chastain is definetly winning this one. I always loved Globes because they usually award one of my favorite actors - RDJ 2 years ago, for example. so I'm hoping Fassy gets some love, it's bad enough Michael Shannon is not even nominated :(s.https://www.blogger.com/profile/13987831438787776712noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2587775651487578742.post-48908069846647085802012-01-10T14:36:16.121+13:002012-01-10T14:36:16.121+13:00I've seen 4 out of 5 and I do think A Separati...I've seen 4 out of 5 and I do think A Separation has this one locked down unless Miss Angie bribes enough voters in time.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00597866901901238462noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2587775651487578742.post-49102744563711846432012-01-10T10:55:28.214+13:002012-01-10T10:55:28.214+13:00Call me old fashioned but i think it will be great...Call me old fashioned but i think it will be great t see the artist win best picture for a musical or comedy.Jacobhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10311411501527847329noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2587775651487578742.post-44839909888316384902012-01-10T02:43:54.007+13:002012-01-10T02:43:54.007+13:00Such a cool way to look at the globes! I really, really want 'Lay Your Head Down' to win best original song, but few seem to pay attention to this category. I think it's just beautiful. I think it's down to Hugo or Moneyball for Best Drama, and either Midnight in Paris or The Artist for Comedy/Musical. Tintin will take it from Rango. Defs Scorsese's year for Best Director though...

Knowing me, all my guesses will be wrong.Ruthhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00175638828147935702noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2587775651487578742.post-56545704547781951082012-01-10T00:45:45.826+13:002012-01-10T00:45:45.826+13:00Teehee I just cannot get past Fassy's teeth!!

Oh man, I hope you are right about Fassy, he needs to win, that will be a great surprise and it will increase his chances for Oscars.Dianahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18333927581755884053noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2587775651487578742.post-67756481575265032182012-01-09T22:46:42.254+13:002012-01-09T22:46:42.254+13:00The reason Meryl may yet win is not just because s...The reason Meryl may yet win is not just because she's Meryl, but because she's getting wide acclaim for her performance. Her reviews for this film are among the best she's gotten in her career. Yet, she may not win as she's been honored so often at the Globes and recently at that. Not the same scenario for the Oscars. I think she's the frontrunner there.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2587775651487578742.post-26228379627121431852012-01-09T20:56:32.585+13:002012-01-09T20:56:32.585+13:00But you haven't seen Drive! Plummer was adorable, but Brooks was just uncanny and awesome.
I think Best Actor wise it'll be a Pitt vs Clooney thing. Somehow Globes and Shame in the same sentence makes no sense.Nikhathttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10379713171889712078noreply@blogger.com
